There's just something about the unspoken love between Family Members.  I had the privilege of photographing several families recently!

Pink and Purple Rain

 

I had the pleasure of attending the Baby Shower for my Brother and his wife who are expecting their Third Baby soon. Their friends, Miss K and Miss R, outdid themselves with the details and the love showered on this family brought me to tears.

Traffic.  Pollution.  Constantly getting mistaken for "Olivia Pope".  All hazards of living near the Nation's Capital. 

But there are definitely perks.  Like heading out for an impromptu sightseeing tour last night - one of the nicest evenings all summer.

 

 

 

 

The Waiting Game

So much of my job requires patience.  Waiting for the right lighting.  Waiting for that spontaneous moment. 

And sometimes, waiting for a family to reveal the gender of their unborn baby to the rest of the world after I have photographed it.  Yeah, that's probably the hardest.

But for the B Family, that wait is over and they have made their announcement!  Can you guess what they are having?
